Sustainability is a way of raising food that is healthy for consumers and animals, does not harm the environment, provides a fair wage to farmers, preserves open space and enhances communities.

We at Ruby Chard support this growing movement that has created a consumer consciousness about where our food comes from, who produces it and how. Wherever possible we purchase locally grown and seasonal foods and support fair trade for family farmers in developing countries.
